Join Junie B. on her first day of first grade, where many changes are in store. Junie’s best friend Lucille has found new best friends, and Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. While in Mr. Scary’s class, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and may need glasses. Add in a friendly cafeteria lady, an intense kickball tournament, and a “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal,” and first grade has never been more exciting.

Group Class Pricing & Policies
Tuition & Billing
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and is considered late after the 5th of the month.
Pacific Northwest Performing Arts operates on a monthly billing system. Tuition is calculated using a 10-month payment schedule (September–June) based on the average number of classes offered throughout the school year. As a result, tuition remains the same each month regardless of the number of classes held in a particular month. Some months may include five classes, while others may include fewer due to holidays, studio closures, or the calendar schedule.
MONTHLY Tuition Rates
*Includes required lock-in event(s).
Production Lock-In Dates
• Fall Lock-In: January 9
• Spring Lock-In: June 4
Unlimited Family Tuition
Families enrolled in multiple classes may benefit from our Unlimited Tuition Program.
Unlimited Tuition Rates:
Please note:
- Fall and Spring Production hours also count toward unlimited tuition calculations.
- Once unlimited tuition is reached, Production tuition is reduced by 50% to $175/month.
Late Payments & Returned Payments
A $25 late fee will be applied to any account with an outstanding balance after the 10th of the month.
Accounts that become more than two months past due may result in suspension of class participation until the account is brought current.
If a payment is returned due to insufficient funds, an expired card, or any other processing issue, a $25 reprocessing fee may be assessed unless alternative payment arrangements are made by the 15th of the month.
All monthly tuition is processed through automatic payment. We do not accept cash or checks for recurring tuition payments.
We understand that financial situations occasionally arise and are happy to discuss payment arrangements when needed. Please contact the office if you would like assistance.
Studio Policies
Enrollment & Withdrawal
PNW Performing Arts operates on a Fall Session and Spring Session, each culminating in a performance showcase.
Students are enrolled with the expectation that they will remain in their class through the end of the session. If a family chooses to withdraw, written notice must be submitted to the office by the 15th of the month prior to withdrawal.
Dropping a Class: Class placement is reserved for each student from registration through the June performance unless notice of withdrawal is provided.
Refund Policy
Tuition, registration fees, costume fees, competition fees, travel fees, and other program-related fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
No refunds, credits, or make-up tuition will be issued for missed classes.
Annual Registration Fee
A non-refundable Annual Registration Fee of $50 per family is required to maintain enrollment at PNW Performing Arts.
This fee helps support the administrative systems that allow our programs to operate smoothly throughout the year, including enrollment processing, scheduling, account management, bookkeeping, website and software maintenance, communication systems, and ongoing administrative support for families.
- New families are charged the registration fee at the time of enrollment.
- Returning families are automatically charged the annual registration fee each year on February 5th.
The registration fee is separate from tuition, costume fees, competition fees, and other program expenses.
Costumes
Each performance piece your child participates in will require a costume. Once instructors have selected costumes for the season, families will receive costume information and purchasing instructions.
Whenever possible, families may purchase costume pieces from alternative retailers if comparable items can be found at a lower cost. However, all costume pieces must meet instructor specifications and be received by the designated costume deadline.
In some cases, specific items must be purchased exactly as provided to ensure consistency among performers. This is especially common for solos, duos, trios, and select group performances where matching costumes are required.
There may also be occasions when costumes must be ordered through vendors that require studio licensing or educator accounts. In these situations, Pacific Northwest Performing Arts may purchase the costumes directly, and families will be responsible for reimbursing the studio for the cost of the costume.
Families will receive costume information at least one month prior to the performance date. Information is typically communicated through the weekly newsletter and email and often includes direct ordering links.
The final two weeks before a performance serve as dress rehearsal weeks, allowing students to rehearse in costume and prepare for the performance experience.
Materials Fees
Certain programs, including audition-based classes, productions, and Summer Stock Musicals, may require a materials fee.
Materials fees help cover expenses associated with scripts, sheet music, music licensing, rehearsal materials, monologues, digital downloads, printing, and other educational resources used throughout the program.
Not all classes require a materials fee. Families will be notified in advance whenever a materials fee applies.
Inclement Weather & Studio Closures
PNW Performing Arts generally follows the Snoqualmie Valley School District (SVSD) for weather-related closures; however, studio closures are determined independently and may not always match district decisions.
Because many classes take place later in the day, road conditions are often significantly improved by class time. As a result, the studio may remain open even if SVSD has canceled school earlier in the day.
When weather conditions are questionable, families should check:
- The PNW Performing Arts App
- Studio email communications
- Monday Newsletter
The safety of our students, families, and staff remains our highest priority when making closure decisions.
Staying Informed
Communication is an important part of a successful studio experience. Families are responsible for reviewing studio newsletters, emails, app notifications, and information posted on our website.
Our weekly newsletter is the primary source for important announcements, upcoming events, deadlines, performance information, and studio updates. We strive to keep communications clear and concise, so when you receive information from us, it is likely important and time-sensitive.
We encourage all families to stay connected and check communications regularly throughout the year.
